About Life

We always say things like "Life is full of ups and downs", "Life is a bed of roses" and Forrest Gump quoted, "My Mama always say, life is a box of chocolates, you'll never know what you gonna get.." How true I felt.. We can do plannings, yet cannot control what will happen, such as who you might meet on the streets tomolo or what last min, either happy or crappy things might happen along the way.. Well, I believe in fate.. for e.g., if I may live up to 70 years, everything is predestined, such as the number of relationships I may have, the person I'll ultimately marry, who will be my kids and so on and so forth... I still carry a belief tat I will meet my "destined" one day.. Last year, my resolution was to meet a man I love, and I really did.. Yes, I met the man I ever truely loved in my whole life.. the first man I hugged and the first man I kissed.. my first bf who will be marked down on my personal history.. yet, I lost him somehow.. a deep crack between us.. I believe I'm at fault too, cuz I couldnt keep the mood up and was preoccupied with my own stuff.. somehow or rather, I think my efforts made werent tat significant.. Even till today, I still carry a hope tat I will hug him again.. however, think its not possible now.. Nonetheless, my resolution for this year is the same as the last.. I have understood my mistakes and felt more experienced now.. I will try hard not to make the same mistakes again..

Thinking about the vicissitudes of life.. how a holiday maker, sun bathing on the beach could unexpectedly got swept away by the tidal waves.. Thousands of people have died, many injured, millions were affected.. the houses, lands, resorts were all destroyed within minutes.. how unfathomed.. its a WAKE UP call for us human beings to treasure everything around us and show our love and humanity to all mankind.. We, Singaporeans should feel so fortunate that this little Sunny Island is shielded from such phenomenon.. God is kind to us and spared us from all these suffering.. While we are celebrating the new year, opening champagne and singing loudly, millions are suffering.. Tats why we are so DAMN FORTUNATE..
