Wed 23 Feb: A Short yet Long Day
The alarm clock beeped at 10am sharp.. Lazy Sam just slam it aside and continue SnooZe till 11.45am.. left 15 mins counting down to noon.. HaiZzz.. presumably, another lazy day.. Breakfast was a thin slice of bai tang kao + my daily dose of cafe21.. left for chinatown by 1pm.. the weather was darn HOT!! i wore my new mng top in orange :) the material is THIN and GREAT for a HOT day ^_^ as usual, got my supplies in tat cramped store in PPC, went to another store at basement.. but then, one material could not be obtained from either store.. no choice had to visit another in bugis :( Neverthless, an excuse to shop there :)
Silly Sam forgot to check out the available bus services to bugis and went to take a train instead.. kAoZzz.. decided to walk from dohby ghaut to bugis but then when i step out of the train station, the sum was beaming brightly and the weather is rated DARNx10 HOT~!! Plan B - Bus service 7.. waited long in the stuffy bus shelter and the temperature within tat small place was increasing every second.. There I was, reached Bugis~!! Decided to get lunch.. was considering BK, crystal jade or Foodcourt.. I chose FC eventually, due to CHEAPNESS and wanting to try something NEW: Kimchi noodles..!! Definitely not worth to pay $4.50 for a bowl of majiam-maggie mee dipped in spicy+little-bit-sour soup topped with little bits of cabbage and preserved vege.. EX sia.. no meat lei :( but then, it was nice to have a steaming bowl of soup noodles when i am craving for something soupy.. and great to try new stuff..!! Rating: 7/10 for taste and 4/10 for value-for-money..
wanting to get bro something for his bday tomolo.. checked out Topshop and other stores, yet could not find anything that suits him.. 27-yr-old liao and turning into an uncle.. cannot expect him to wear prints like those offered in topshop and f-men.. mostly importantly, the price doesnt fit my budget kekekeZ.. so walked over to bugis st checking out for available bargains.. did not get anything as well.. the place was chaos with the renovation going on during operating hours.. the place was again, cramped and stuffy.. thankfully, the canvas shelter did a great job by shielding the sun away from tat place.. visited the 2nd floor and only a few stores were opened.. NO LUCK.. last resort: OG.. checked out BUM - NOTHING, checked out OP - NOTHING, finally saw something ok from Maui & sons ^_^ 2 pieces for $29 kekekeZ.. the budget fits and the quality of material was considered GOOD~!! So i bot one nice navy blue t-shirt for kor and i selfishly bot a white halter neck kekekekeZ... hmm.. kena rejected at the cashier.. she told me kor's top was not under promotional items and it costs $26 instead... shit.. tat salesgirl at maui told me its under promotion.. kena cheated!!! HUH!!! bloodly annoyed, i walked back to the counter and changed the nice one to another navy blue t-shirt.. well of coz, the design not as nice la =_= but still okie for the quality :)
getting late, so rushed to little india for the train back home.. today we are having the reunion dinner at home for the last day of cny.. 15 days, finally came to an end.. time flies.. we had a great dinner, totally filled to the rim.. watched the 9pm show on tv, then continued working on my $60 orders.. finally finished and packed up my stuff by 1am.. started to work on other things till now.. BLOGGING..
Today (23 Feb) is HIS bday.. 28-yr-old bday.. exactly one month later from mine.. i sms him "happy birthday" in the afternoon and he replied "Thanks".. not disappointed or whatsoever as i had expected he would reply this way.. how much better do i have to know him..?? kekekeZ.. admitted tat i havent been contacting him since the 2nd day of cny.. i will cut down thinking of him continuously.. its time to get on with my life and start on new things.. my CreActionZ is on priority while i had to get a job too.. doing the basic theory is also another milstone.. Jia You bah SamSam :)
