Loneliness

Ever since I had Aaron, I never felt so lonely before... I will be sleeping alone almost for the next 2 weeks and the house is really really quiet without him around.... That stupid reservist thingy..!! And his kind of reservist is the cannot-go-home type.. Today we met briefly in the evening and he had to report back to camp by 11.30pm.. He wont be home till Wed night.. Thu night he'll be back but I have to attend a wedding dinner.. this day will be burnt as he has to report back to camp same time... =( So sad... Then from Thu, he'll be gone all the way to the 2nd weekend of Feb... even sadder.. This came as kinda "surprise".. cuz I have seen colleagues going on reservist but they are the office-hour kind.. the kind where they can "knock off" and be home for dinner... sigh... but my dear is the Guard.. he has to go training, exercise.. blah blah blah.. Then from Thu, he'll transfer to Lim Chu Kang camp.. where he'll be "locked up" for more than a week.... sad sad.. To think, I thought he could come home every day.. Haiz.. so lonely.. and now even worse.. no friends on msn at this hour.. I could only talk to bloggie... tata..

Lately........

2007 has been busy for me since the very start... I know I havent been diligent enough to update my blog.. and I wonder who still visit this blog.. kekekezZz... I do hope I can upkeep the promise to update often... Hope only nia.... =P

Jan 2-9 : Perth trip
SQ flight - the seat sucks.. little leg room.. I feel very uncomfortable throughout the 4.5hrs journey... service wise... ok la.. very standard one :) Our address was Currie Hall, the dormitory at UWA where Aaron spent his 3 years of student life... Our residence was a one-bedroom studio, with inroom shower and a cosy living room and dining area.. This is my first time stepping onto Australian grounds and a non-Asia country... first time seeing so many ang mohs in my life.. Let's call ang mohs "SAM" = si ang moh... There's SAM as a truck driver, SAM as a tree cutter, SAM as a foodcourt cleaner, cashier, waitress, toilet attendent, baker, blah blah blah... it made me laugh at the very start... cuz I have always seen SAMs as either tourists or professionals.. LOL... It was a wonderful trip.. we visited chocolate factory, wine yards, wildlife park, our Uni, Aussie town, shopping malls etc etc etc.. My fav place is still the shopping malls... And I bought many many clothes... kekezz...

Jan 20 : Ah Gong's 76th bday

Jan 21 : Taken my wedding photos... total 4 outfits + 1 casual.. I had the option to wear a Chinese kua but I declined.. cuz it made me uncomfortable.. The pics will be ready to choose in 2 weeks' time..! I cant wait...!!!

Jan 22 : Skipped work!! An impromptu approach to celebrate my bday.. Aaron was driving his dad's car this day and he sent me to work... But on the way, we decided to declare it as my off-day.. so I took "urgent" leave and went shopping..! Since 11am.. Orchard - Great World City - Marina Sq... finally, a gratifying buffet dinner at my fav Melt - Oriental Hotel.... Next, we travelled to West Coast to my in-laws place, returned the car then head home on a cab.. the fare cost 18 bucks!!!!

Jan 23 : Happy Birthday to dear me... My 27th... A usual day at work with a heartwarming lunch-treat from my dear dear lunch kakis... Country Mana at Serangoon Garden... A simple cake cutting celebration in my mother's home which called it a day... Bye bye sweet 26!! That was an excellent year in my life... With so many happenings... Marriage, new home, added responsibilities, etc... It was tiring yet fulfilling and I really loved it... I am looking forward to an even better year 2007!!!!!!!!!!!

My simple resolution: Wish my friends and family great health and wealth... all the best in 2007!! All GPC remain young and pretty.. and everything goes well for my wedding on May 12th :)
