Daily Reminiscence 18 - 24 Oct
SunDay: ~ Ah-Liu wEdding day ~
Overslept alittle and woke up at 5.30am.. hurry hurry rushed out at 6am to pick up ah-fang to ah-liu's home.. reached there by 6.30am.. the groom reached at 7.15am and we began our "treatment" of sour, sweet, bitter, spicy, hotdogs and bananas feast, as well as a mushy poem recital.. bargained an amount of $300 for our "sister" hongbao.. kekez.. following that was travelling to the groom's home, the couple's new home, chinese garden and raffles country club for photo shooting, and back to the bride's home for tea ceremony, before finally retiring back to our own homes for a short rest and dressing up for the wedding dinner.. tiring day! but can't imagine anyone more tired than the bride and groom themselves..
had alot of fun meeting up with old frens, esp when these are the people whom we have known for more than 10 years.. since sec 1.. miss those good old days at school.. our friendship still remain strong despite some of us have not met up or talked for years.. we still have lots of topics to talk about.. exchanged some hp numbers to stay in touch and knew some new friends too.. however, something just bothered me.. I have in fact lost contact with this group of frens for almost 5 years before gaining them back last year in June.. I just regretted for my own foolishness years back when I stubbornly cut off contact with all of them because of just one of them whom I disliked.. that was really childish.. and I cant buy back lost time.. they have grown closer all these years and I have somehow became distant. Though we can still communicate well but the relationship is not as strong as the rest of them are having with one another.. 5 years is just wasted like that.. nonetheless, I have to work hard at keeping in touch and remaining great friends with them for many decades to come..

SatuRday: 0ld & New FrEns GatheRIng
My working shift this week.. spent some time in the office working on NM assignment.. made my way home to change before meeting allis and jack @ PS for the movie, the grudge.. not such a fantastic movie though, not frightened by the scenes, actually there was nothing much scary and the ploy was ordinary.. as I had seen Ju-on before.. well anyway, bot a popcorn combo meal for just 2 bucks and curb my cravings on popcorns.. but that was really such a big pack.. the 3 of us cant even finish the one and only set of popcorns and ice lemon tea! had a nice chat with the both of them and found that the 3 of us really can clicked well.. went to mcdonald's for dinner and there was a bunch of youngsters making alot of noise outside the restaurant, near to where we were sitting.. I had a filet-o-fish meal and allis was able to buy 3 out of the 4 hello kitties offered for this week, based on the 3 sets of value meals we bot.. we also got a 9-pc nuggets FOC.. overall, today had great fun, though the movie wasnt great but able to catch up with both old and new frens.. really like the new jack better, more cheerful and chatty, unlike the KP I knew 10years back, quiet and in fact too quiet.. hehez.. we took the same train home afterwards and he got off at kovan.. I made the rest of the route home on my own.. at home, did my nails and watched a little bit of Quill, abit sleepy now, have to wake up at 5am for ah-liu's wedding.. need to pick up ah fang at hougang.. Zzzzz... nitey!

FriDay: ScHeDuLe FuLL
I wish I am supergal.. another f**kin' bz day with an appointment in the morning, and tons of work that follows.. determined to study harder, I spent my lunch hour studying NM and working on the assignment.. my fidel colleague, Ollie, bot me a cream bun and sponge cake, and missed my presence when I MIA from our usual lunch date with 3 other colleagues.. spent another 45 mins working on NM assignment in the pantry after work, before making my way to Simei BK to meet up my project mates for another round of discussion.. On the journey home, caught the announcement of the latest Singapore Idol result on TV Mobile, and out went Maia Lee.. no opinions, but tot it could be Chris Lee who sang rather awful for the past few weeks despite his good looks.. reached home, bathed and went to bro's hse to play with ah-kai.. didnt see them for so long and rather miss them.. discussed with Lian-jie abt our KL trip, Jack sms me, and arranged with allis on our date today.. wat a load of upcoming events! bz life!

ThurSday: KamBatei!
A new name for myself ~ Kambatei..! Freaking bz day again today.. had a business lunch with boss this afternoon at Ponderosa with the fedex people.. I dun bother what they are talking, I just chew on my salad.. free lunch, why not..? Telling myself again that I have to work hard and will start to devote my lunch time into studying for upcoming mid terms so I can reserve time at home to work on my assignments.. after work, I spent about 1.5hrs studying at the pantry.. quite an achievement as I did studied for half a chapter.. its better than nothing at all.. back home, where the TV, computer and bed are at close proximity, I just feel like succumbing to temptations.. It'll be better this way as I will put in about 2 more hours of study per day..
Being bz is able to take my mind off alot of things.. like drowning myself and diluting bad memories away.. well, I am not one who will escape from the haunting past.. in fact, I will face up to it, realise my mistakes and move on as a better person.. I might not be able to get over the past completely but at least, day by day, I will feel better.. sometimes I will wonder what he is doing out there, who he is with.. but I tell myself that I shan't bother anymore.. I will be doing myself good by not trying to find out what he is doing.. the past is gone and shall never return.. just live my life to the fullest and make each day counts..! okie, back to NM assignment..

WedNesday: I wish I am SuperGal
BZ has became my middle name.. had 4 discussions with FF and a lunch appointment today.. some negotiations went well, some did not.. met handsome, nice and old guys today.. found out that UPS andy-lau-lookalike's name is Winston and there's someone called Alvin showing his charisma which couldn't work on me.. I can only say Winston's smile attracted me.. hehez.. Had lunch with SK and Boss @ Crystal Jade Tampines.. must commend that SK is such a warm and friendly guy that looks like the boy-next-door and mummy's boy.. though abit overaged but can sense that he is the ultra sincere type.. Not such a coolz day today, some FF infuriated me and I hate to do negotiations over the phone cuz they can't see you and they won't give you face.. tiring day..IT and NM tutes today are total disasters for me.. I think I have made such a mess on my studies that I have to start bucking up, else might just fail and have to chalk out another 3k to repeat my units.. where to find such money?? Goodness me.. starting tonite will work hard on IT mid terms and all those coming up.. will not have much time for at least next 3 weeks to meet frens, go shopping, entertainment, etc.. working hard will be my alias now.. shouldn't talk so much, gotta work on my IT now.. :(

TuesDay: Freakin' bz but livin' it great!
As the title suggests, today was freakin' bz but very rewarding.. I think I'd rather be a bizzy than a lazy person.. was late at work this morning, reached office only at 8.45am.. had a quick breakfast prepared by my dear mum.. kaya roti and my cafe21.. had an appointment at 9.30am and the negotiation went smoothly.. later, was bz dealing with the usual stuff.. lotsa work but dun feel the stress.. went lunch at 12.40pm to Bedok South again, this time I had a kuay teow soup.. spent total 2 bucks.. Continue to get bz in the afternoon.. then Louis, the VP from HK dropped by.. he's so charming despite his age and his accent is absolutely sexy.. kekez.. Met Louis and Wee in the pantry and Wee bought both of us a drink from the vending machine.. I had a hot milo.. Met up Vincent, the handsome label supplier, for a business discussion and our new requirements.. everything went smoothly today and time passes quickly.. this is what i call LIFE!! Sufficient work to last me throughout the day and keeps my mood at top level..
After work went Mall to get a couple of things from Watsons, did some banking matters and collect my colored contact lens.. left 1.5 more months to wear these lenses.. bought some haw flakes for $1.50 from the medical hall.. took a brochure about herbal tea, gonna read it later.. Mum bought me a packed rice with cabbage and fish.. had a nice meal, watched TV for 15mins and here I am blogging away.. gonna bathe and continue on my assignment and tutorial questions.. guess tonite's gonna be a long nite too.. sighz..

Slept late last nite, as a result, woke up late this morning.. mad rush to office begins.. Bus 27 damn crowded and gotta stand right at the door.. luckily never get squashed.. Reached office at 8.34am, had a quick breakfast consisting of a small cake and my daily dose of cafe21.. Radio is on as usual and boss came in early today.. Did my usual stuff, was abit bz in the morning but things slowed down after Boss went to the Msian Embassy.. had lunch at Bedok South market, spent a mere $2.10 on bee hoon and a soya bean drink.. had 2 appointments with Boss today.. have to agree that he's a really good negotiator.. somehow found that Boss had improved tremendously on his performance recently.. he has become more hardworking, focused and patient.. on the other hand, I feel that my performance had dipped :( well, just not interested in the things I am working on..
Would be rather bz till mid Nov, working on my assignment, tutorials, mid term exams and forthcoming intensive lectures.. anyway had planned activities all the way till year end.. next year will have a fresh start, and a new life! Later tonite will be continuing to work on my assignment and tutorial questions.. this term is not going to be easy.. International Trade will definitely be a killer.. wonder if I'll survive through this ordeal.. hopefully won't fail this unit as would be a waste of time and $.. having Kitaro's concert playing on my mini hi-fi.. love this disc and kept playing it something like 4-5 times last nite while I was working on NM assignment till the wee hours of the nite.. this disc will continue to be in my player for quite some time.. That'll be all today, will continue to work hard!

Dad called to say that sis met with an accident on CTE.. scared the shit out of me.. fortunately, only the car is injured.. just a small bump on the other party's car and nothing on hers.. Break the news to Mum when she came home and scared (x 3) the shit (x 3) out of her.. I didn't put it in the proper manner.. wahahaa.. her body had a good blood circulation.. black heart me..
8.30pm - went to Mall again with Sis and decided to get the Genki Natural Tea Therapy.. 12 satchets for $29.90, abit ex but worth it if it can help my gastric problem.. I chose the one for intestinal therapy, sis wanted to get the slimming tea, but it was out of stock.. at the cashier, I picked up some printed beauty/health/skincare tips.. just for fun.. got a catalog from Watsons too.. there was a jewellery fair on sale and I bot a bracelet and anklet for just $2 each! At home, I sipped some green tea and felt too tired to work on anything.. will rest early tonite and update my blog b4 i go zzz...
