Updates

Haven't been updating my blog for almost a week..

Been disappointed as I did not lose weight.. Worse is I did not exercise this week as it rained every morning.. I do not want to dirty my shoes so I did not go jogging for a week already..

We brought Charmaine to ntuc and something funny happened.. It was cold that day, so I put on a hat for Charmaine, and carried her facing front so she can see things.. She was happy until she cried suddenly.. Then I realized the hat was too big and covered her eyes.. She cried as she could not see anything.. Lol..

On Thursday, I went to ultimate spa with my sis.. We did an hour massage and a body scrub.. It was nice.. Then we met up my mum, baby, hubby and in laws for a tasty lunch at tonkichi.. Shopped around then went home.. At about 5pm, we went for house viewing at Park Green, picked up dinner at buangkok then went to watch shrek 4 at downtown east.. Disappointing show, waste $$$ I think the producers ran out of ideas and wrote a very silly story and used repeated jokes..

Friday is another busy day.. My sis and I drove to bishan and took the met to orchard for another spa session.. This time using her package from touche.. The massue is really good despite the dilapidated environment.. We walked to taka and picked up a Nike water bottle.. Took the train back to bishan, picked up yakult from my sis childcare centre and indulged in my bubble tea session.. The best drink bubble tea from bishan.. My fav for years!! We headed home, rested for abit, showered and brought baby to ikea together with my mum and hubby.. Had a late lunch and bought stuff from ikea.. In the evening, we met up Florence, Aaron and their baby, and attended Sherman's baby carah's full month celebration at mint museum.. The food was not nice so we head to bugis for a late dinner.. It was a pleasant evening and I am really happy that Charmaine was well behaved and it was great meeting them up together with our babies..

This morning, sat, we brought baby to compass point for brunch.. Bought her some socks and pyjamas from kiddy palace and pants from fox baby.. Resting at home now and we are going out for dinner later.. Great start to my wonderful weekend :)

West Coast Plaza

Rised early today and did my 20mins aerobics.. Determined to lose weight, I exercise 5 times a week, starting last week.. I perspired so much after my daily regime which I never did before.. I think I am really fat as fat people perspire more..

Went to my mum's place for breakfast and prepared baby's bag for going out.. We head off to west coast plaza at 11 plus.. Had slight delay as dear made wrong turn.. Finally reached and we had lunch at Thai express together with my in laws.. The kway tiao was evil and addictive.. I ordered Tom yum soup too.. The clear type.. The taste wasn't so good this time.. Perhaps the cook wasn't so good today :X

Compared to yesterday, baby wasn't so well behaved today.. She cried quite alot and made everyone frantic.. My mum went shopping on her own leaving my in laws time with the baby.. Thankfully my mum saved the day after she finished her shopping.. I got 2 missed calls from her but she managed to find her from baby's cries! That is how loud she cries!!

Weather was great as it rained heavily.. We went to hougang to pick up comic books from my sec sch friend Sally thereafter to plaza to buy toiletries and dinner.. Relaxed at home with my mum and baby after that..

Happily watching tv, typing away and eating bak Kua complimentary of my sis :)

Parkway Parade

Rise and shine early today... After feeding baby, we set off to Upp Changi for delicious yong tau foo... Thereafter, dad and hubby dropped us at Parkway while they went to car workshop to "zeng" our car..

Mummy, baby and me shopped on our own.. Discovered a nice nursery room in isetan... Didn't buy anything.. We just window shopped and ate desserts in the foodcourt.. Baby is quite well behaved and slept on the stroller.. It was a nice trip except we waited quite long for the guys to pick us up.. I'm glad baby is able to stay longer in the stroller today which she used to scream when we put her into it the other time... She cried abit in the car on the journey back due to hunger and sleepiness... Once back home after her milk feed, she fell into a slumber..

It was nice today and I'm looking forward to tomorrow's trip to west coast..

Needless to say, I love weekends now :)

Today 14.05.2010

Hi, I'm back...

Today was great.. I woke up early to do the laundry, then I head over
to my mum's place... I took my sis' car to bishan then I took the
train to orchard for my massage appointment..

Stopped by cotton on at orchard mrt tunnel and bought 2 pairs of
cotton shorts at just $20... Had some time left, so window shopped at
isetan baby section... Had a relaxing Javanese massage by an
experienced massue and finished at 12.30pm... This time, the sales
followed up on the RF treatment they tried to sell me last week.. I
rejected... Then tried to sell me mud wrap therapy, also for slimming
and reducing water retention.. I rejected too haha.. I would rather
spend on my daughter then on such expensive treatment..

Therafter, I picked up a sandwich and window shopped at forever21,
which used to be my fav fashion label.. I did not buy anything as I
feel that the clothes are not worth the price... Picked up some kueh
kueh for my mum too :) and head home, reached before 2pm...

Today's weather is great, cool like yesterday... I did not perspire
like few days back which is great for me! I hate to sweat and make my
clothes all smelly... Yucks!!

Watching tv now while typing this entry on my iPhone.. It's great now
and I am happy today :)

Updates

Finally found an easier way to upload my posts...

I am happy that my hubby bought me an iPhone.. Although I do not have the 3G data plan yet, I am enjoying the wifi at my mother's house... Since right now I am still not working and seldom go out, can save some money for the time being...

Charmaine is almost 10 weeks already.. Right now is more predictable but she still can get cranky sometimes.. I am still not independent enough to take care of her on my own.. I hope very soon I would be able to do so...

For the past one odd months, I have been leaving her at my mum's place.. Every morning I wake up early to do my chores before heading to my mum's place to care for her.. I feel better when my mum is around.. I will only return home in the wee hours.. But I hope all this will change soon as soon as she is "reformed"...

We celebrated my first Mothers' Day last Sunday.. I was surprised to receive a diamond pendent from my mother-in-law, "on behalf of Charmaine"... Also, hubby bought a cake :)

Never know that iPhone casing is so ex!! I bought a sweet pink one for 20 bucks after bargaining down from 22.. So aunty right? That's what my sis said about me last night.. Who cares, it's a fact that I am an aunty now... Anyway, I decorated this plain casing with a hello kitty crystal sticker that I bought from tokyo last year! Looks sweeter!!

Time passes very quickly and I actually hope that it can pass faster.. I dun mind returning to work as that means Charmaine will grow up faster and maybe becoming easier to care for... Everyday I am also looking forward to nightfall as it is terribly hot during the daytime...

Will be going to spa again tomorrow.. Hope to have a relaxing massage, last week one wasn't so good...

So much for today :)
