TGIF.. long time I never said this.. everyday is Sunday to me for the last 2 months+. This week is almost gone again, except for reading one more book and finishing the whole Brothers&Sisters series, I have accomplished nothing else this week... very shiok feeling... But I'll be meeting my prospective employers at 2pm later.. hope can sign the appointment letter soon! Wish me luck ^_^

My current read is "ANGELA"S ASHES".. it's a memoir by Frank McCourt.. abit funny, irony and sad sometimes.. I am halfway through now.. hopefully can finish soon.. As for the BONDMAID, it got me hooked into it and I finished it very quickly.. but after reading it, I dun feel anything cuz it's just a story... Catherine Lim's style is always about a girl's life in the pre or post-war period of Singapore/Malacca.. quite similar to TEARDROP STORY WOMAN.. But the BONDMAID is nicer, even though it has a sad ending.. quite akin to the typical canton soap opera.. but it's a quite a good read nonetheless... I am looking forward to finding FOLLOWING THE WRONG GOD HOME in National Library..

BROTHERS&SISTERS is a superb show!! It's so funny (to me) and irony and crappy and and and... lots and lots.. and I love the way these people speaks.. so cool... Looking forward to season 2... Now I am repeating Heroes season 1 after completing season 2.. hahaa... good refreshing course...

Unemployed

Ya, I am still unemployed.. haha.. but still enjoying my carefree days.. ok, since there is still no update from that stupid company who has put me in the air for 3 months, I shall embark on new interviews ^_^

These 2 months of "unemployment" has been fun and fulfilling... I have been reading alot of books and watching alot of movies, TV, drama, etc.. Moreover, I have exercised alot... I am having this new tan on me that I am so happy about!! Rather than looking like a sickly, pale OL in the past.. The current book in my bag is "THE BONDMAID" by local writer, Catherine Lim and the current drama in da house is "BROTHERS AND SISTERS", quite the soap opera that I like... I am enjoying my everyday now and will continue to do so ^_^

Ah Pok

This is my ah Pok... so cute right..?? haha... I am so free recently and started to take my Ah Pok out for walks again... it has been so long since someone has taken him out for a walk.. he used to be so active and excited when he is out of the house.. Now, at age 14 (in human years: 98), he has grown to be so lazy.. stopping so regularly for breaks.. I decided to take him out for regular exercise.. though old but still must walk more, exercise more in order to live a long and fulfilling life.. so similar to humans.. despite his growing laziness, he is still considered to be healthier and more active than other dogs his age.. he can still jump onto our sofa ok... no joke.. to think in the past, he could even use a chair as a springboard to land on our dining table and feast on our dinners.. hahaha!!! This is my ah Pok, my naughty Pok....
