Friday = nonid to work??

A norm in Avnet perhaps, or is it a whole industry thing? When people used to work on Saturdays, Sat is like a bochap day.. nonid to answer phone card, nonid to work.. now people work 5-day week, so does it mean bochap day has changed to Friday instead? I receive less phone calls on Fridays, my super regular customer (one day can call many many times one) seems to be on leave every Fri.. less email come in.. to my surprise, I only have 3 unread mails when I return to office after my 1.5hr lunchtime… usually 10 times more.. Strange thing happen to me is….. I AM SO DAMN FREE today.. no quotations to submit, no phonecalls and less emails.. boss and other big bosses go out for meeting.. I GOT NOTHING TO DO NOW LEI…. Tats y I blog during this hr which can easily be the busiest time of the day… today could be the month end for many companies bah.. tats y they are more focused on their operations bah…

I had an easy morning… I went out promptly ard 12. had to make a trip to SSDC to apply my PDL.. I super sotong, din check the bus guide and very the hao lian one went straight to AMK bus interchange only to find that the bus doesn’t stop there.. had to walk all the way to the train station busstop which is quite a distance away.. I bot a tuna bun and ate along the way.. sekali cannot tahan the hot weather and took a cab instead.. like tat, I wasted 50 mins of my lunchtime.. the thingy very fast and I NOW HAVE MY PDL LE! Gotta start learning soon… saw my bus 268 zoomed off b4 me, waited for abt 5 mins and cant tahan the heat at the bus shelter, so I took a cab back and wasted $5.90.. back to office by 1.40pm but still so many people haven’t come back yet.. see la, Friday mood… avnet’s Fridays are always half empty.. people arrive late, long lunch and knock off on time.. now shoulder hurt abit.. I think I cannot do typing.. if I continue like this I sure die young.. so I better stop typing now.. I’m sure I will have a wonderful weekend and Monday blues on next working day…

Tired, wat else? So great lor, so Avnet has became a bigger fish by eating smaller fish.. by acquiring Memec lah.. it seems to others that our company is getting stronger, so our pay is getting thicker right? Well, maybe not so, work is getting thicker I bet… So my boss has confirmed that he will be leaving us to marketing dept.. so it left me, a freshie of the electronics industry and newbie salesperson to deal with 300+ customer accounts.. think I got 2 heads issit? Recently also a lot of bloody shipment problems, delinquent, push out.. hope can hack them all.. and some people in our co are so stupid, so slow at their work and everything seems to be bottlenecked somewhere… maybe I am far too efficient bah.. maybe I got 4 hands and 6 legs hor…! I sound bitter… well, told myself that if I cant manage I will ask for help or leave HAHAHA….

Shoulder still ache.. maybe I will go try my very first acupuncture soon.. ok, time to knock off le.. ciao!

 

Good Morning Monday!

It was indeed a good morning Monday.. I had a really good morning.. Sis went off to Batam with bf so dad got a chance to use her car.. he drove me to work and I realize how nice it is to have someone chauffeur you to work.. no need to cramp into the sandwich-packed bus, no need to dash123 before the train door close, no messy hair, and no hurting feet.. I even had a no-rush breakfast and caught bits of Zao An Ni Hao.. Just had lunch and hope today would pass like a breeze, though I strongly doubt so..

SAT.. I promise to wake up early, yet din realize it.. so I woke up at past 10.. chat online with Christine then went off to bugis at 12+… din buy anything there.. Bugis is super crowded on a weekend afternoon.. I couldn’t even get a small seat in the foodcourt so in the end, I gave up.. I traveled to PS, a less crowded place to eat my lunch.. met up ak and we ate at the foodcourt.. I had a nice bowl of ban-mian.. alrighty, so I bot ollie’s bday present – a small bag from little match gal.. but I liked it very much and wanted to keep it for myself.. but it’s the last piece left.. well, I am still considering the choice.. then I bot kaikai’s bday present too, a t-shirt and surf shorts from OP, which has 30% off storewide.. thinking about buying a couple t-shirt, we bot each other the same design.. I had a children size 6 while he took the boys size L.. like that also can hehehehheee….. we toast frozen pizza at home for dinner..

SUN.. stayed at home to watch Seoul Raiders, which ak kept repeating its Tokyo Raiders.. whatever…! We only spent small part of the day at Compass Point, where he bot me a white bag from Charles & Keith.. wah! I love that bag bag lei..! so cute.. we had dinner at the foodcourt and I ate ban-mian again ahhaha.. only this time is tom-yam flavoured…! Spent the rest of the day at home watched tv and resting..

Good weekend =)

So I had a pretty good weekend =)

So the plan to meet up sis in compass point din worked out in the first place, but then worked out again.. due to some miscommunications with mother (it always happen), I tot they were gg out to punggol plaza then to ah kor’s place.. but then sis called me last min asking me to buy her dinner at CP.. so she came to fetch me at 7 when I hurriedly turned off my pc.. we had dinner at BK, the cheapest alternative to Foodcourt.. I spent abt 20+ with her bf joining us.. then we hit the malls but thankfully, I din buy anything, else another blowout.. sis bot a pair of slippers from C&K.. reached home before 10.. ak reached at 11+ after his magic meeting.. he bot some new gadgets and I had fun..

SAT.. I woke up at 945 and supposed to go facial at 1030.. dun wanna miss the timeslot and my breakfast so I decided to take a cab.. stupid sia, I waited 20 mins for one.. shit.. only managed to reach Bishan at 11am.. finished up my facial, blew 160 bucks into a face gel and pimples oil.. I am almost broke.. but then enjoyed good service from Liping, whom I visited for facial for the past 3 yrs.. will continue to do so.. went shopping in J8 and bot a pink top from FNT, complimentary from ak HAHA.. then went to TPY to meet him for lunch at this jap restaurant.. we finally opened our joint savings account! After talking about it for >1 mth, finally its done! Only TPY ocbc opens till 8pm on sat.. deposited our first 1k and I felt kinda broke this mth.. 500 stashed away in a savings account.. meaning, less will be spent on clothes! Bags! Shoes! Went to the library, borrowed a few books and went home in a cab.. ak fell asleep while I tidied up my room.. had dinner at mall and almost end of day here..

SUN.. went to Chinese swimming club and cleared 20 laps while ak played basketball with his frens.. then i went my own way to the pool.. it was good experience to swim there. Nice environment and the shower room was fantastic! Had lunch at the nearby restaurant then went PP to shop.. bot a pair of Giordano cropped jeans, complimentary of him again.. thanks dear! tabao dinner at sakura and found tat the hor fun sux.. i slept early last nite but it was a fitful one..

 

Friday!

YAY! Its Friday again….! So fast, another week almost gone like tat.. so must recount what I did for past 2 days.. Oh well, WED……. I went swimming after work with mei.. the day was clear lei.. hehehe..! finally realize our wish to swim laps for this week.. I managed to do 20 while mei did very well too.. I think she did between 16-18..! =) too bad, no goggles for her.. if for me, eyes sure gonna hurt.. mei, better get ur goggles ah..! we split and I took 136 home.. I had a GOOD dinner.. hope din waste my swimming effort =P

THURSDAY…. GPC meeting..! had dinner at crepes citylink.. I din feel good cuz of the creamy mushrooms.. I think I shd stay out from those creamy.. it gave me stomach wind and nausea spells.. kaoZzz.. MNG sale! All the goodies snapped up, so I better save my $$ for new stocks bah =) spent the rest of evening at starbucks talking cock and singing songs hahaha.. had a great time catching up with my gpc gals.. no new girlie joinees, except new guys on da block – david and ak.. HAHA.. they are the GPC II – Guy Power Club =P

FRIDAY.. not yet lunch time and I am blogging here.. hehe.. shall call it a day on time today.. wanna shop at compass point.. my sis out of job le.. so maybe jio her out for shop and eat.. long time nvr pei her le.. make it today then =)

Mid-week

Just back from lunch and finding a little time to blog.. just 1 para will do.. din work out yesterday as sis hogged the tv till 9+.. din managed to do my aerobics which require my living room space.. gave up on tat and indulged in eating HAHA… well well, still gg to try swimming this evening.. hopefully it wont rain again :) gg to start working soon as I have arranged a customer visit later at 3.. might check out J8 if I got time HEHEHE.. so I shall have a relaxing afternoon, no need to work so hard today. Can declare time off liao WAHAHHAA…..

Saturday

Was supposed to go bank yet did not go again.. HAHA, too lazy.. so I woke up at 9+ and went Pasir Ris to see our 2 cats.. oh ya, mama placed our kitties to a pet farm permanently le :( 4 yrs having them at home and abit sad to see them again, as they looked so ke lian.. mama told me they were terrified the first day.. hope they will get used to life there soon.. there, I saw many poor kitties.. some got 1 eye, abused, i guess.. and some are really old.. our bai-mao looked so skinny :( and her eyes are so dull.. haiz.. poor thingy :(

 

So after tat i did the aerobics at home, expanding my energy and trying to burn food away.. i havent been exercising for a long time and felt rather FAT.. ak came home fr work.. rested awhile, showered, then off we went to Heeren for Marche and Lido for "Fantastic 4".. the movie not bad, i give it a rating 7.5/10..

 

Sunday

Lazy day.. rather nua at home as I dun wanna spend $$.. made pancakes for breakfast and did some reading while ak worked from home.. watched tv and did the aerobics.. after he woke up from his nap, we went to the gym in the late afternoon.. i did the treadmill for 20 mins and cycled for 10mins.. had a great workout this weekend.. dinner at delifrance and did some shopping in ntuc.. home sweet home by 9.30pm..

 

Monday

Work - busy busy busy... visited a customer at maxwell house in the morning.. the first half of the day ended quick as we spent 1 hr at the customer's office.. its 2 korean guys running a sales office in singapore, who did the buying and selling themselves.. korean guys do have nice features but looked pretty old to me.. u know, they look like richard gere of the east neh...! lunch at canteen and finished off the day at 5.50pm.. met up ak at PS.. had dinner at cartel.. he promised to buy me new clothes yet nothing caught my eye.. so i gave his wallet a chance... bought breakfast for the next day and reached home by 10pm..

 

Tuesday

was supposed to go swimming after work yet it rained :( nonetheless will try our luck tomorrow again.. hope the weather's good.. so i am now blogging at home and waiting for ak to come back fr batam.. will replace aerobics with swim :)

I'm like so long nvr blog le.... well, i'm back now for a quick entry.. there has been nothing big this week.. just BUSY.. busy with work, wat else...?? I cant wait for the next pay to be deposited into my bank account.. I am hungry for more $$! I wanna more more more money.. I'm like almost spent away my savings during my 3-mth break.. and I blew away my previous mth's earning as a temp in HR.. all for FASHION.. that sense stole my $$, exchanging them with cloth... ARGGHHH... i promise to save up.. but my shopping sense (not SENSE) acted up again and I must get something this weekend.. so i will divert my aim to HIS credit card WAHAHHAA.... *wicked wink* ciaoz.................
